Side-lying Stretch

Lie down on your side with your legs extended straight. Place a block or a cushion under your lateral waist (the side of your body) to support and massage the lateral muscles.

Zen Bridge

Lie down with one or two blocks placed horizontally under your upper back, just below the shoulder blades. Move the blocks and readjust if you feel they’re not in the right positions. Rest your arms beside or overhead, allowing your chest to gently open and extend. Breathe deeply and relax into the posture.

Push Up

Place two blocks under your palms, with the curved (unbalanced) side down and the rounded (stable) side up. Assume a plank or push-up position with wrists aligned under shoulders. Engage your core and maintain a straight line from head to heels.

Tai Chi Balance Shift

Place one foot on the curved (unbalanced) side of a Tai Chi Block, and the other foot on the rounded (stable) side of the second block. Begin standing tall, arms softly extended or hands at heart center. Shift weight gently from side to side, micro-adjusting through the feet and ankles. Stay still or explore subtle movements while maintaining a vertical spine.

 Balance Squat

Stand with heels elevated on the Tai Chi Blocks, feet shoulder-width apart or wider. Lower slowly into a squat, keeping knees aligned with toes and spine tall. Breathe into the hips. Option to flow gently up and down or pulse within the squat for dynamic engagement.

 Tai Chi Embrace

Sit comfortably cross-legged or on a cushion. Hold a Tai Chi Block gently between both hands in front of the chest or navel. Soften the shoulders, elongate the spine, and allow the breath to slow. Practice the block as an anchor for focus and gentle engagement of the core.

Calf Stretch

Stand with feet hip-width apart, one foot slightly in front resting on the Balance Block. Maintain a gentle tilt of the pelvis and engage the core. Shoulders are relaxed, arms softly hanging.

Back Support for Everyday Wellness

Sit comfortably on your sofa or chair, place a block against your lower back, using it as a support instead of a pillow. Ensure the block is positioned to provide gentle support to your spine.

Overhead Block Lift

Stand upright with a Tai Chi Block in each hand and ensure your feet are firmly placed on the blocks. Each side should weigh 0.4 kg.Lift the arms overhead in a wide arc while engaging your core muscles throughout the movement to support your balance and stability.

Block-Assisted Heel Raise

Stand upright with a Tai Chi Block in front of you, place your feet shoulder-width apart, ensuring a stable base. Slowly lift your heels off the ground, rising onto the balls of your feet. Keep your body aligned and engage your core as you rise. Hold the position briefly at the top, then gently lower your heels back to the ground.

Tai Chi Block Upper Body Strength

Begin by securing a pair of Tai Chi Block on each wrist and forearm. Each side should weigh approximately 0.8 kg. Ensure that the blocks are comfortably fitted and stable, allowing for free movement of the arms. Stand or sit upright with your feet shoulder-width apart for stability, lift your arms upward in a controlled manner, engaging your shoulder and arm muscles.

Tai Chi Balance Shift
